Counseling Services
At Haven, I offer a supportive space to slow down, process what you’re carrying, and better understand yourself and the season of life you are in.
I work with teens and adults while also offering select family sessions when family dynamics, communication, or shared challenges would benefit from support together.
I provide both in person and telehealth sessions.
Areas of interest/specialities
Anxiety and feeling overwhelmed or stuck in your thoughts
Depression and navigating low mood, disconnection, or loss of motivation
Suicidal Ideation/Self-Harm
Eating disorders and disordered eating patterns
Grief and loss, including the changes and losses that can come with different seasons of life
Spirituality values or concerns if/when you would like interwoven in your counseling experience
Motherhood including the identity shifts, expectations, and challenges that come with being a mom
Mild OCD tendencies, including intrusive thoughts, worry, and patterns that can feel difficult to quiet.
I also provide supervision services to licensed professional counselor candidates at a discounted price.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on helping you feel understood while working toward meaningful change. You don’t have to fit neatly into a category to benefit from counseling. Sometimes you simply know that something feels off, you’re tired of carrying it alone, or you want support as you navigate a new season.
I engage in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and nervous system regulation techniques to help your mind and body connect to engage in safety again.
